Our Assistant feature (or Jenny) helps manage your incoming calls by screening calls, taking messages, and blocking spam so you don’t have to pick up every time your phone rings.
⚠️ Keep in mind:
Assistant is available for paid subscribers only and not for trial users.
🚀 Getting started
You can find the Assistant in the Calls tab in the Popcorn app, as shown below:
Getting started takes just a few steps:
Open the Calls tab in the Popcorn app
Tap Get Started
Watch a quick intro from our CEO, plus a short demo so you can see the Assistant in action.
Follow the setup instructions and enable Call Forwarding.
👉 Enabling Call Forwarding is required for the Assistant to work. You can find a step-by-step guide on how this works below.
📞 Call Forwarding
Call Forwarding allows Popcorn to route your calls so the Assistant can answer, screen, and take messages on your behalf.
Once you reach this step, tap Continue
Tap Set up call to begin configuration.
You’ll see a pop-up screen. This is expected, just tap Dismiss
We’ll place a quick test call to confirm everything is set up correctly
Once completed, tap Finish and your Assistant is ready to use 🎉
👉 During setup, you may see a strange or unfamiliar number pop-up. This is expected. It’s a system number used to configure your device and route calls correctly.

No! The Assistant currently works only on your main Popcorn line.
Is the Assistant available on the free trial?
Is the Assistant available on the free trial?
No! The Assistant is only available on active paid subscriptions. It won’t work on trial or inactive accounts.
Can I still make calls normally?
Can I still make calls normally?
Yes! You can continue using your phone to make calls as usual. The Assistant only affects incoming calls.
