How do I enable hotspot on Popcorn?

You can use your Popcorn connection as a hotspot, but in some cases you may need to update your settings first.

🔧 How to enable hotspot:

iPhone

  1. Go to Settings (⚙️)

  2. Tap Cellular

  3. Select your Popcorn eSIM

  4. Tap Cellular Data Network

  5. Scroll down to Personal Hotspot

  6. Update the APN:

    • Change from hotspot → wholesale

Once updated, your hotspot should start working normally.

Android

  1. Go to Settings (⚙️)

  2. Tap Network and Internet

  3. Tap SIMs

  4. Tap on Your Popcorn eSIM

  5. Tap on Access point names

  6. And add the following APN and label it as "Popcorn."

    1. Set the APN to: wholesale

    2. Set the MMSC to: http://wholesale.mmsmvno.com/mms/wapenc

    3. Set APN type to default,supl,mms,dun

  7. Once it has been added, make sure to select it as your APN.

Once updated, your hotspot should start working normally.

💡Keep in mind:

  • Your Popcorn eSIM may appear under a different name. You can identify it by checking the phone number.

  • Make sure your Popcorn eSIM is selected for Cellular/Mobile Data.

  • Ensure Data Roaming is enabled, as Popcorn relies on roaming globally.
