My data isn’t working

Troubleshooting internet and data issues

Popcorn works globally, but you may occasionally run into data issues.

Here are a few things to check:

  1. Turn on Data Roaming
    Go to: Settings > Cellular > [Popcorn eSIM] > Data Roaming
    Make sure Data Roaming is ON.

  2. Enable 5G
    Go to: Settings > Cellular > [Popcorn eSIM] > Voice & Data
    Set to 5G Auto.

  3. Switch carriers manually
    Sometimes the local carrier you're connected to may have issues.
    Go to: Settings > Cellular > [Popcorn eSIM] > Network Selection
    Turn Automatic off and select another available network.


Heads up:
Because Popcorn uses a US based eSIM globally, data is sometimes routed via the US before reaching your current location. This can occasionally lead to latency.

We offer a second backup eSIM in the US, EU, and Asia that optimizes routing. Reach out to support if you’re experience some slowness.
