Does Popcorn work with my phone?

Popcorn works best on iPhones with eSIM support. Rule of thumb:

  • If you’re using an iPhone 12 or newer, you’re good to go

  • For the best experience, we recommend iPhone 13 or later

Make sure your phone is unlocked:

Your device must be carrier unlocked to use Popcorn. You can quickly check this following the instructions below:

  • On your iPhone;

  • Go to Settings → General → About;

  • Scroll to Carrier Lock;

  • If it says “No SIM restrictions”, you’re all set; ✅

  • If you see a carrier listed this means your phone is locked; 🔓

If your phone is locked, you’ll need to contact your carrier to unlock it. This may require paying off any remaining device balance.

We’re currently focused on delivering the best experience on iOS. This means you won’t be able to set up or use Popcorn on Android just yet. You can learn more about this here!
