Popcorn works best on iPhones with eSIM support. Rule of thumb: 

If you’re using an iPhone 12 or newer, you’re good to go

For the best experience, we recommend iPhone 13 or later

Your device must be carrier unlocked to use Popcorn. You can quickly check this following the instructions below: 

Go to Settings → General → About;

If it says “No SIM restrictions”, you’re all set; ✅

If you see a carrier listed this means your phone is locked; 🔓

- On your iPhone;
- Go to Settings → General → About;
- Scroll to Carrier Lock;
- If it says “No SIM restrictions”, you’re all set; ✅
- If you see a carrier listed this means your phone is locked; 🔓

If your phone is locked, you’ll need to contact your carrier to unlock it. This may require paying off any remaining device balance.

At this time, Popcorn is built for iPhone (iOS) and is selectively onboarding Android users. 

That said, our Android app is currently in development and will be launching soon!
